GroutFreezLab is a spin-off company officially recognised by the Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca. It was established through the synergy between researchers from the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca, Politecnico di Milano, industry partners, and professional consultants.

MISSION
The mission of GFLab is to consolidate knowledge in ground improvement and transfer it to the market, creating added value through a deeper understanding of materials and processes, and delivering enhanced outcomes in ground treatment.
GFLab, through the provision of both innovative and standard testing, supports its clients by:

Assessing the rheology and injectability of the grout mixture in relation to a specific real soil;

Conducting mechanical, hydraulic, and chemical/environmental characterisation of the injected soil;

Performing mechanical and thermal characterisation of frozen soil samples (in collaboration with EUROCOLD LAB — https://eurocold.disat.unimib.it/).
