Soil consolidation replicating site conditions in the laboratory

ITS - Injection Tube System

Permeation Grouting (PG) is a widely used method for the improvement of loose soils. Planning, designing, and implementing a PG project involves the preliminary adjustment of grout mixture flow properties and the precise calibration of injection parameters.

Following these injections, permeability tests (such as Lugeon or Lefranc tests) are generally carried out to verify the reduction in hydraulic conductivity of the treated soil. In some cases, core sampling and penetrometer tests are also performed to assess the quality and extent of the grouting.

ITS is a patented apparatus designed to perform injections using the cementitious and/or silicate permeation grouting technique on a representative soil sample under controlled laboratory conditions, allowing accurate monitoring throughout all operational phases.
